THIS JUST IN:
My Daughter and I saw Stevie Nicks last night at the BOA Pavilion in Boston (Which is a perfect venue for a show.) Stevie was ageless and timeless- An ethereal Angel singing Landslide- the spot light behind her making her soft, flaxen hair glow like a hallo. The fans thundered to their feet at the first twang of Rhiannon. She twirled and wove her magic with a floating, shimmering shawl. Surprisingly she sang Crash into Me by Dave Matthews (A sexy love song) dancing to the suggestive lyrics lifting her petticoats like a flirty school girl. She did a fabulous long set and sang everything any Stevie fan could want from obscure Sorcerer to Stand Back (With the occasional quick break to change her fantastic Fairy wardrobe.) She ended with Edge of Seventeen accompanied by the entire audience. After the deafening standing ovation she came back on stage, a rockin' Mama, belting out Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll. It was an out of world experience to be in the presence of her Legend. The crowd would have stayed all night! WOW!
